Foster on a Tear, Hits for Cycle Wednesday, May 11th , 2072 Some days everything just falls in place. It all came together for Rob Foster and the Sing Sing Songbirds at Ladd Grounds. The Songbirds went home winners and the second baseman had a 6-for-6 day that included the cycle, a baseball rarity. "He sure was a wrecking ball today," said Sing Sing manager following his club's 16-14 taming of the Montreal Whiz. Rob Foster singled in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Ben Spilsbury in the 4th, tripled in the 5th, singled in the 5th, doubled in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 8th.
