Foster Gets 6 Hits Wednesday, May 11th , 2072 Sing Sing second baseman Rob Foster had a big day at Ladd Grounds against the Montreal Whiz. The 22-year-old, who is not typically considered a big threat with the bat, went 6-for-6 and led to the 16-14 Songbirds triumph over Montreal . "Hey, I'm as surprised as you guys are," Foster said in his postgame comments, smiling as he scolded the press corps for underestimating him. "Maybe I'm not so bad at the plate after all." Rob Foster singled in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Ben Spilsbury in the 4th, tripled in the 5th, singled in the 5th, doubled in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 8th.
