Monster 3-HR Day for Hutchinson Saturday, May 14th , 2072 Chris Hutchinson went on an explosive hitting spree against the Brainerd Seagulls at Naturals Ballpark, launching a trio of blasts to help the Saskatoon Legends win, 19-4. The left fielder finished 3-for-3 with 3 runs scored and 6 runs batted in. "It was just one of those days," Hutchinson said in a postgame interview. "I don't know how to explain it. I'm just putting a good swing on the ball." Brainerd skipper said Hutchinson was "locked-in." "We made some pretty good pitches," he said. "Those first two homers were exactly where the pitcher wanted to put them. He's just hot right now -- you've just got to tip your hat to him." Chris Hutchinson walked in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off Bob Anderson in the 3rd, hit a three-run home run off Bob Anderson in the 4th and hit a solo-shot off Luis Hernández in the 5th. Posting a .288 batting average to date, Hutchinson has 4 home runs and 29 RBIs. |
