Hitting Streak Still Alive for Rodríguez Wednesday, June 3rd , 2065 The streak is alive and well -- at least for today. Francisco Rodríguez did it again, bashing 2 hits in the contest at Stealers Ballpark today. For the last 35 games in a row, the 24-year-old right fielder has collected at least one hit. His efforts helped the Saskatoon Legends beat the Brainerd Seagulls 5-0 today. "I'm happy I kept the streak going," Rodríguez told a standing-room-only crowd of reporters gathered in the Saskatoon clubhouse. "Honestly though, I'm looking forward to going home and not thinking about this for the rest of the day."
