6-Hit Barrage by Anderson Friday, July 9th , 2077 Sonoran shortstop Michael Anderson had a fantastic day at the plate at Chimpanzees Ballpark, knocking out 6 hits and pacing his club to a win, 15-5. "It was like I was hitting Little League pitching," Anderson said after his 6-for-6 performance against the River Swimmers. "No offense meant to Olympic , but it was like I was back in little league again -- I could see the ball that well. But this wasn't a kid park, it was Chimpanzees Ballpark." After the game, his manager elaborated on the shortstop's improvements, saying Anderson spent the offseason trying to shorten his swing and stay inside the ball. "That's what I'm trying to do," Anderson said. "Be quick to the ball and let it travel a little farther so I get a better look at it." Michael Anderson singled in the 1st, doubled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and hit an RBI double in the 8th.
