Harrison Smacks 5 Hits for Freedom
Saturday, July 1st , 2073
It's not something you read about in the sports pages every day -- a 5-for-5 day. For many, it might come around only once in a career -- and for Brian Harrison, it came around today.
The 26-year-old first baseman scattered hits all over Swamp Dragons Stadium to pace the 13-5 Puerto Vallarta Freedom victory over the Bridgetown Buccaneers.
Bridgetown skipper told reporters in the press room that "Harrison deserves a hat-tip."
"He hit some good pitches against us," he said. "In fact, according to our scouting reports, Harrison hit several that he is not supposed to be able to hit."
Brian Harrison hit a solo-shot off Jim Unknown in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Jim Unknown in the 4th, doubled in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and hit a three-run home run off Jim Unknown in the 8th.
Currently Harrison is hitting .410 and has collected 6 home runs, 14 RBIs and scored 10 times, while playing in 10 games.
