Roy Dominates Soap Box Derby
Saturday, July 22nd , 2073
Jeffery Roy was in a mood to talk following the Olympic River Swimmers contest against the Summit County Soap Box Derby, expounding to BNN reporters on his pitching philosophy. He had good reason to be excitable, having tossed a complete game shutout of the Soap Box Derby, 8-0.
"There are three important elements in pitching success: location, location, and location," Roy said. "I was hitting my spots time and time again."
The right-hander blanked Summit County on a 1-hitter, allowing 1 walk and racking up 5 strikeouts.
This season to date, Roy has a record of 5 wins and 6 losses with a 5.26 ERA, has appeared in 13 games and struck out 51 in 78.2 innings.
