Rose Hits for Cycle Against East St. Louis
Friday, July 28th , 2073
Kevin Rose did everything he could for the Jackson Hole Bucks -- literally.

The 25-year-old center fielder hit a single, a double, a triple and a home run for the Bucks, going for the cycle and helping them get past the East St. Louis Eagles, 14-2, at Ballpark of Stockton.

"Yeah, I was some kind of hitter in this game," Rose reflected later. "It was like all I had to do was close my eyes and swing the bat."

In a game headed for the record books, Rose banged out 4 hits in 5 at-bats and totaled 2 RBI and 5 runs scored. Speaking with the press about the feat, he attributed it to "a lot of luck."

"A triple is so hard to hit," he said. "To just decide to get one in a game when you need it for a cycle, it's impossible. Usually something weird has to happen, the ball kicking past an outfielder or somebody falling down. There's a ton of luck in hitting for a cycle."

Kevin Rose doubled in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Alexis Bailey in the 3rd, flied out in the 4th, tripled in the 6th, walked in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.

For the season, Rose is batting .328 with 77 hits and 4 home runs. He has scored 50 times and batted in 20.
