Hoboken Mathematically Eliminated from Playoffs Wednesday, July 18th, 2063 Gabriel García said it's going to be "an awfully long offseason" for the Hoboken Hawks after they missed the POTD Double A playoffs. The club came close, but ultimately ran out of games to secure a postseason spot and were eliminated from contention today. The Hawks have missed the playoffs 31 times in their 39 years as a POTD Double A franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 6th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2056. In the last 10 seasons, the Hawks have missed the playoffs 9 times. |
