PAC's Top Player, Phelps of Montreal Monday, July 25th , 2072 Nick Phelps is respected by most Montreal Whiz fans for his no-frills style of play. The 22-year-old first baseman went about his business with vigor last week to grab the Pacifiic League Player of the Week honors. He compiled a .476 average (10-for-21) with 3 home runs, 8 RBIs and 6 runs scored. To date Phelps has chalked up a .308 average with 7 home runs, driven in 19 runs and scored 13 times. |
