ATL Awards Best Batter Prize to Trujillo Monday, June 19th, 2062 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the Atlantic League, but last week José Trujillo of the Brainerd Seagulls reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Trujillo rocked opposing pitching for a .500 average (12-for-24), 2 home runs and 9 RBIs to come away with the award. This year Trujillo is hitting .330 with 13 home runs. |
