Greyhounds Prevail, as Round 2 Goes to the Wire Thursday, September 4th , 2070 With a narrow 4-3 series win, the Granville Greyhounds have eliminated the Crab Apple Sluggers and are Round 2 winners. "We tried not to look ahead to the Round 3, but we thought we'd be there for sure," said shortstop Jimmy Oliver, who was named series MVP. Granville won the final game by a score of 7-2, wrapping it up at Spears Ballpark. Oliver's big series saw him hit .440 with a .481 on-base percentage. He had 2 home runs, drove in 5 RBI and scored 3 runs. The Granville Greyhounds will play against the Wildwood Waves in the next round.
