Whiz Captures Wild Card Friday, August 18th , 2073 The Montreal Whiz say they are ready for the challenge that lies ahead. The challenge is to capture a Round 3 title as a wild card team. "The Pacifiic League Northern Division is a strong division and we still feel good about our chances even though we didn't win it," said starting pitcher Mike Cash. "It's going to be a tougher road to a title, but it's one we're ready to embark on." The team has a 79-39 record and is seeking its 2nd POTD Double A championship. |
