Hit Streak Now at 20 for Carson Saturday, August 19th , 2073 Richard Carson of the Olympic River Swimmers tagged 1 hit in today's 17-1 loss to the George Town Tourists at Louisville Grounds to run his hitting streak to 20 straight games. "I realize it's unlikely to have a 20-game streak and not have a couple losses mixed in," he said later. "But it still takes the fun out of it." Richard Carson singled in the 1st, walked in the 4th, flied out in the 5th and grounded out in the 8th. During the current season Carson is batting at a .299 clip with 8 home runs and 50 RBIs. He has played in 88 games and scored 45 times. |
