Austin Slams 3 Homers for Bucks Wednesday, August 23rd , 2073 The George Town Tourists knocked off the Jackson Hole Bucks, 9-8, in spite of a fantastic performance by Bucks third baseman Damon Austin, who Austin drilled three home runs but couldn't bring home the victory. "It's like going to the prom with the prettiest girl in school, having a great time, but then not getting a good night kiss," Austin said later. Austin finished the day with 3 hits in 4 at-bats, 7 runs batted in and 3 runs scored. Damon Austin struck out in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Bob Nicholson in the 4th, hit a three-run home run off Bob Nicholson in the 6th and hit a three-run home run off Lane Davis in the 8th. To date Austin has chalked up a .321 average with 21 home runs, driven in 78 runs and scored 67 times. |
