Greyhounds Win Round 1 Friday, August 23rd , 2075 The Granville Greyhounds appear poised to make a serious run at the Round 3 after a convincing sweep over the Olympic River Swimmers in the Round 1. It's now on to the Round 2 for Granville, who won the final game 7-1 and took the series 3-0. "Everyone's doing their part and things are falling into place," said Granville center fielder Chad Cunningham, who was named series MVP. "It feels like a special year." For the series, Cunningham hit .556 with a .667 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, drove in 2 RBI and scored 2 runs. The Granville Greyhounds don't know who they will face in the next round.
