Crusade Won't Get Playoff Berth Saturday, August 20th , 2067 Fans of the St. Augustine Crusade will no doubt look back at a handful of games and wonder what could have been, if only a few things had gone differently. For now, the focus turns to next season, as the club was officially eliminated from playoff contention today. The Crusade have missed the playoffs 34 times in their 44 years as a POTD Double A franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 8th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2059. In the last 10 seasons, the Crusade have only made the playoffs once. |
