PAC Announces Outstanding Player Award Tuesday, September 27th , 2072
The manager of the Lake Champlain Monsters said he thinks Freddie Allen is only going to get better as he gets older.
He may only be 23, but it will be hard to top the center fielder's 2072 campaign, as he has been named the winner of the Pacifiic League AA Diamond Hitter Award.
His winning campaign featured a .302 batting average and a .416 on-base percentage this year. In 114 games he piled up 125 hits, 32 doubles, 2 triples, 19 home runs, 85 RBIs and 75 runs scored.
He received 10 first place votes out of a possible 28. Spike Bennett of the Hoboken Hawks finished second in voting with 14 first place votes, while Felipe Flores of the Wildwood Waves finished third with 3 first place votes.
