Kataoka Wins Award for PAC Dominance Monday, September 22nd , 2070 At the young age of only 26, Shimei Kataoka has been named the Pacifiic League Reliever of the Year Award winner for 2070. The future appears bright for the Wildwood Waves relief ace, who captured the award with 16 saves in 45 relief appearances, 115 strikeouts in 89 innings and a record of 10-2 to go with his 1.72 ERA. He received 28 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Vincent Curtis of the Lake Champlain Monsters finished second in voting, while Millard Woodard of the Hell HellFire finished third.
