Star of the Week Honored in CNL Monday, July 2nd , 2074 The top batter in the Colonial League last week was Dustin Whitfield, who batted .500 and towered above everybody with a 6-game hitting barrage. During the week Whitfield banged out a .500 batting average (11-for-22), 6 home runs, 12 runs batted in and scored 8 runs. Today the Saint Paul catcher received the CNL Player of the Week Award. At present, Whitfield is batting .441 and has collected 10 home runs, 29 RBIs, .552 OBP and scored 19 runs. |
