Centaurs Come up Short of Playoffs Saturday, August 18th, 2057 The Raleigh Centaurs were mathematically eliminated from postseason contention today. Michael Cook of the Centaurs said it's a tough way to finish out the season. "To be eliminated from playoff contention in the last few games, it's not easy," he said. The Centaurs have missed the playoffs 11 times in their 28 years as a POTD Rookie League franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 3rd in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2053. In the last 10 seasons, the Centaurs have missed the playoffs 5 times. Raleigh has won the Round 3 2 times in their history. |
