Iida Smacks 5 Hits for Beetles Monday, July 11th , 2067 Ienobu Iida did more than his part as the Chandler Beetles topped the Modesto Goshawks today at Ballpark of Chandler. The Beetles center fielder pounded out 5 hits to pace his team to a 27-8 thumping of the Goshawks. Ienobu Iida walked in the 1st, hit a three-run home run off Jon Buckley in the 2nd, hit a three-run home run off Chi-young Xú in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit a two-run single in the 6th, flied out in the 7th and hit a three-run home run off Winston Meade in the 8th.
