Romero Wins OBL Player of the Week Honors Monday, July 23rd, 2063 José Romero is respected by most St. Louis Robots fans for his no-frills style of play. The 34-year-old center fielder went about his business with vigor last week to grab the Outback League Player of the Week honors. He compiled a .577 average (15-for-26) with 1 home run, 8 RBIs and 6 runs scored. This season Romero is swinging the bat at a .447 rate with 51 hits in 114 at-bats.
