Barracudas Come up Short of Playoffs Monday, August 14th , 2073 It's the better-luck-next-time point of the season for the Beloeil Barracudas. The club was officially eliminated from playoff contention today, and will turn their attention to next year's campaign. "You know, the average player doesn't get that many seasons, so every time you're eliminated, it hurts," said Barracudas center fielder Peter Taylor. The Barracudas have missed the playoffs 27 times in their 45 years as a POTD Rookie League franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 2nd in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2071. In the last 10 seasons, the Barracudas have made the playoffs 5 times. Beloeil has won the Round 3 3 times in their history. |
