DALEKS Nomura Booms 3 HRs Sunday, July 22nd , 2074 It was a special day for Nobuhito Nomura, but less so for the MYSTIC DALEKS. Nomura slammed three home runs against the San Nicolas Bulwarks, but the Bulwarks outhit him and got the win by a score of 9-5. "Lately, I been uppercutting the ball too much. I would hit it hard, but they just went sky high and stayed in the ballpark," he said to sportswriters after the game. "No big long outs for me in this game -- I leveled out my swing and connected on the sweet spot three times. I knew they were gone the minute I hit 'em." The MYSTIC center fielder finished the day at Bulwarks Ballpark with 4 hits in 5 at-bats, 4 RBI and 3 runs scored. Nobuhito Nomura singled in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off Armando Ramírez in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off John Warren in the 6th, hit a solo-shot off Raúl Sánchez in the 8th and struck out in the 9th. Nomura is batting at a .224 pace this season, picking up 15 hits in 67 at-bats with 10 home runs, 18 RBIs and 12 runs scored. |
