Carpenter and Gordon Suspended for Free-for-All Sunday, July 24th , 2072 Baseball officials have suspended two players for "inappropriate and aggressive conduct" in yesterday's Delaware-MYSTIC contest at Greenjackets Ballpark. The Dragons Mike Carpenter and the DALEKS Joe Gordon will have to sit out 3 and 7 games respectively for their parts in the brawl. So far this year, Carpenter is hitting .305 with 4 home runs. This year in 7 starts, Gordon has recorded no wins and absorbed 4 losses. He has pitched 21 innings, allowed 28 hits, struck out 35 and has a 12.86 ERA. |
