Peppers Gentry Raps 3 Homers Saturday, July 30th , 2072 The Bakersfield Firewalkers knocked off the Raleigh Peppers, 8-6, in spite of a fantastic performance by Peppers third baseman Joe Gentry, who Gentry drilled three home runs but couldn't bring home the victory. "It's like going to the prom with the prettiest girl in school, having a great time, but then not getting a good night kiss," Gentry said later. Gentry finished the day with 3 hits in 4 at-bats, 4 runs batted in and 3 runs scored.
