Victors Sánchez and Goshawks Lambright Suspended for Fight Saturday, July 30th , 2072 If there wasn't a history between Francisco Sánchez of Mason and Bret Lambright of Modesto, then there is one now. The incident between the two sparked a bench-clearing scrum with those two being the center of attention. Now they will miss 3 and 7 games respectively as a result of their actions. The league office announced their suspensions today. "We're both really competitive," Sánchez said later, "and sometimes things go a little too far because of it." In 28 games this year, Sánchez has posted a .259 average and put up these numbers: 4 home runs, 15 RBIs and 17 runs scored. This season, Lambright has earned 8 saves, made 13 relief appearances, fanned 22 hitters in 15 innings and posted an ERA of 1.20 and a 0-0 record. |
