Barrage of Hits Gets Colón OBL Award Monday, August 11th , 2070 This week Outback League pitching was a feast fit for a king and Orlando Colón really made the most of it -- ripping them royally. The talented Port Monmouth hitting machine produced a .600 batting average, 6 home runs, 18 hits in 30 at-bats, 17 RBIs and 15 runs. That kind of hitting earned him the OBL Player of the Week honors. So far this season Colón has put up a .408 batting average with 71 hits, 31 home runs and 73 RBIs. |
