St. Louis SS Will Miss 2 Games, Suspended by League
Thursday, August 2nd , 2068
Luis Guzmán of St. Louis got more than he bargained for when he was ejected for arguing a third strike call in yesterday's game against the Modesto Goshawks. It turns out that the ejection wasn't the end of it. Today, the league decided to suspend Guzmán for 2 games for his actions which included a rant filled with inappropriate language and throwing equipment on the field once he returned to the dugout.
"Players need to show more restraint on the field," the league's announcement said. "Guzmán obviously crossed the line and we had to take the proper action against him."
Guzmán on the season is hitting .318 with 7 home runs. His stats include 15 RBIs and 27 runs scored.
