Aoyama and Peters Suspended for Free-for-All Sunday, August 5th , 2068 Takahashi Aoyama of the Hong Kong Phooey and Leo Peters of the Mont Vernon Gladiators received notification from the league commissioner's office that they had been suspended for 4 and 9 games respectively for their part in the on-field ruckus in a recent game at Chesapeake Grounds. To date this year Aoyama is batting .315 with 10 home runs. This season Peters has gone 0-3 with an ERA of 5.31, posting 43 strikeouts in 39 innings. |
