Greensboro's Fujita Sidelined for Season Wednesday, August 8th , 2068 Akira Fujita will soon find out from his doctors if his season will continue. The first diagnosis was not too positive and indicated the Greensboro catcher could miss the remainder of the year. Fujita was injured while running the bases in the Gappers-Jackets clash at Ballpark of Greensboro recently. Doctors said he has a torn anterior cruciate ligament and would be out a minimum of 7-8 months. Thus far this season Fujita has hit .234 with 2 home runs, 17 RBIs and scored 11 times. |
