Slashers Chill Fraser's Hot Streak Wednesday, July 23rd , 2064 Jon Fraser, shortstop for the Buffalo Officers, gave it a good try, but his time chasing history came to an end when he went hitless in 3 tries against the Louisville Slashers today. Not only did the Slashers break his 21-game hitting streak, they also beat Buffalo by the score of 18-5. "Now that the streak has ended, I can admit I'll breathe a bit easier the next time I step up to bat," Fraser said, speaking with the media after the game. "It was tough because I put a little pressure on myself. Now that it's over, I will definitely be a little bit looser at the plate." Batting .342 to date, Fraser has 3 home runs and 23 RBIs. |
