Wilson Slaps 5 Hits Tuesday, August 15th , 2073 Jon Wilson was at the head of a Chandler hit parade at Ballpark of Chandler. The first baseman went to the plate 5 times and came away with 5 hits, sparking the Beetles to a nice 23-6 victory over the Raleigh Peppers. "I told the guys in the dugout, just be thinking about hitting the ball hard somewhere," the sweet-swinging Wilson told reporters after the game. "Seems like it worked out well for us today." Peppers skipper said later that the club gave up "too much plate." "Not the way we planned it," he said. "Every hitter in the league will rip you when you do that." Jon Wilson doubled in the 2nd, hit a three-run home run off Adrián Herrera in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th and singled in the 6th.
