Bad Boy Brawlers Suspended 4 Games Wednesday, August 16th , 2073 You would have thought you were at a hockey game yesterday at Ballpark of Mason. A free-for-all broke out when Peter Ballard of Mason and Oliver Hernández of Rothschild rushed one another on the field and had to be restrained by umpires and teammates. Few blows landed, but it was enough for them to be ejected from the game. Today both teams received notification from the league office that the two players would be suspended for 4 games. A look at his current stats shows Ballard with a .367 average, 4 home runs, 14 RBIs and 14 runs scored. He has played in 31 games. This season, Hernández has logged 2 saves. He has thrown 25.1 innings, dished out 25 strikeouts and walked 13 while putting up a 3-1 mark and a 4.26 ERA. |
