Francis Wins CNL Prize, Named Best Hitter in August Friday, September 1st , 2073 When Milo Francis stepped up to the plate in August he did it with confidence, and today he was honored with the Colonial League Batter of the Month award. The young Mont Vernon center fielder posted a .439 batting average with 8 home runs, 22 RBIs and scored 18 runs. Francis also worked pitchers for 13 walks to post a .543 on-base percentage. For the season, Francis is hitting at a .368 clip with 12 home runs, 31 RBIs and has scored 28 runs. He has 50 hits, 26 walks and a .476 on-base percentage. |
