Lambright Grabs OBL Reliever of the Year Award Monday, September 26th , 2072
When Bret Lambright jogged in from the bullpen this season, opposing teams knew they were going to have a tough time putting up runs.
The Modesto Goshawks closer turned in a dominant campaign and has been named the Outback League Reliever of the Year Award winner for 2072.
His award-winning season saw the bullpen ace get 8 saves in 16 relief appearances, 26 strikeouts in 17.2 innings and only 13 walks. He had a record of no wins and 1 loss to go with his 1.53 ERA.
"I hope I can pitch like this every year," he said.
