Mass Ave's León, Rookie Diamond Heater Award Winner Wednesday, September 28th , 2072 The Outback League announced today that Glenn León has been chosen the Rookie Diamond Heater Award winner for 2072. The Mass Ave hurler had everything working for him as he cruised to an outstanding 10-1 record. León put up an impressive 2.00 ERA in his award-winning season. He started 13 times, worked 85.1 innings, yielded 56 hits, walked 20, fanned 131 and held opposing hitters to a .187 average. He received 19 first place votes out of a possible 28. Bobby Carey of the Mass Ave Minutemen finished second in voting with 9 first place votes, while Liam Moore of the Mass Ave Minutemen finished third.
