OBL Gives Outstanding Pitcher Award Monday, September 29th , 2070 The Dollar Corner Buffalos have a rising superstar or maybe even a budding Hall-of-Famer in the making. It's Raúl Adame, this year's Outback League Rookie Diamond Heater Award selection. This blossoming hurler wowed fans, peers and sportswriters with a fabulous performance. Adame compiled a 8-3 record in 13 starts, tallied 136 strikeouts in 90.2 innings and recorded a 1.49 ERA. Other clubs managed only a .194 batting average against him. He received 28 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Juan Jose Díaz of the Dollar Corner Buffalos finished second in voting, while Matt Barraclough of the Bakersfield Firewalkers finished third.
