West Island left fielder Hunter Cranwell was sensational. He was 3 for 5 with a home run and a double. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. But it wasn't enough to rally his team to a win. Newark beat the Storm, 6-4. Juan Vargas, the winning pitcher, is now 14-6. He went 5 innings, allowing 4 runs on 8 hits, while fanning 5 and walking 2.
