Railbirds Heading to Round 4 Saturday, October 25th , 2070 The championship aspirations of the Reading Railbirds are still alive and well, while the Alcatraz Island Jail Break are left to wait until next year. Reading won the clinching game of the Round 3 3-1 over Alcatraz Island at Schuylkill Landing Park, to win the series 4-1. "You feel like a little kid again, celebrating something like this," said left fielder Austin Howard, who paced the Reading offense and was named series MVP. "We take everything real seriously when we're on the field, but after a series is over you can finally relax a little bit." Howard claimed the MVP by racking up 8 hits for a .500 average, with a .529 on-base percentage. He had 0 home runs, 4 RBI and scored 3 runs. The Reading Railbirds don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the West Island Storm - Ozark Outlaws series. That series is tied at 2 games apiece.
