The 25-year-old first baseman sent three bombs out of the park to help the Freedom beat the Bridgetown Buccaneers, 30-6, at Swamp Dragons Stadium. "When you're in the zone, the game really slows down," Wheeler said when asked about his performance later. "I couldn't even tell you what pitches were thrown. Today feels great, but it is a long season and tomorrow is another day." For the day, he scored 6 times, drove in 8 runs and smacked 5 hits in 6 at-bats.
