Buccaneers Pitching Ravaged by Kamida

Puerto Vallarta center fielder Taheiji Kamida had a big day at Swamp Dragons Stadium against the Bridgetown Buccaneers. The 21-year-old, who is not typically considered a big threat with the bat, went 5-for-7 and led to the 30-6 Freedom triumph over Bridgetown .
"Hey, I'm as surprised as you guys are," Kamida said in his postgame comments, smiling as he scolded the press corps for underestimating him. "Maybe I'm not so bad at the plate after all."
Taheiji Kamida grounded out in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off Jim Unknown in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, struck out in the 4th, singled in the 6th and hit an RBI single in the 7th.
Kamida is batting at a .341 pace this season, picking up 14 hits in 41 at-bats with 3 home runs, 8 RBIs and 7 runs scored.
