Saskatoon -Crab Apple Brawl, Rich and Rodríguez Suspended Tuesday, May 11th , 2077 Will Rich of the Saskatoon Legends and Roberto Rodríguez of the Crab Apple Sluggers will be on the sidelines for a few days. They have been suspended for 5 and 3 games respectively by the league office for causing the bench-emptying free-for-all at the recent Legends-Sluggers game at Naturals Ballpark. Neither player had any comment about the suspensions. Both clubs told BNN Rich and Rodríguez will begin serving them soon. This season, Rich is batting .182 with 1 home run. He has scored 3 runs and driven in 3. So far this season, Rodríguez has picked up no saves in 5 relief appearances. He has also compiled a 0-1 won-lost mark with a 7.71 ERA and fanned 11 batters in 9.1 innings. |
