Roberts Takes Best Bat Award in May Tuesday, June 1st , 2077 Dan Roberts has a lot going for him. The East St. Louis first baseman just broke into the majors this year and now the Atlantic League has just picked him as its top hitter for May. In 27 games last month this outstanding rookie batted .374 with 11 home runs, 34 RBIs and 26 runs scored. This year, Roberts has batted at a .356 pace with 67 hits, 13 home runs, 51 RBIs and scored 43 times. |
