Bad Boy Brawlers Suspended 5 Games Sunday, May 24th , 2076 The two main figures in yesterday's brawl at Ballpark of Lubbock have been suspended for 5 games each. That action was taken today by the league commissioner's office and will take effect immediately. The suspended players are Joel Woodard of the St. Augustine Crusade and Jesse Tipton of the Buena Vista Blaze. Hitting .319 to date, Woodard has 2 home runs and 8 RBIs. He has played in 23 games. This year, his season stats show Tipton has no saves in 18 relief appearances with a 2-1 record and 7.57 ERA. |
