PAC Awards Best Batter Prize to Williams Monday, June 25th , 2074 One of the league's most exciting young players, Joe Williams of the St. Augustine Crusade earned himself Pacifiic League Player of the Week honors with a standout performance in last week's games. For the week the 23-year-old left fielder had a lofty .556 average (10-for-18), collecting 5 home runs, 13 RBIs and 8 runs scored. Thus far this season, Williams is hitting .319 with 16 home runs, 52 RBIs and 52 runs scored. He has 66 hits in 207 at-bats and has played in 62 games. |
