Polk on Fire, Named Player of the Week Monday, May 22nd, 2062 So far in his young career, Jarret Polk has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Pacifiic League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 21-year-old Jasper Mom & Pops left fielder hit at a torrid .522 clip as he collected 12 hits in 23 at-bats, 2 home runs, 7 RBIs and 5 runs scored. During the current season Polk is batting at a .306 clip with 7 home runs and 25 RBIs. He has played in 37 games and scored 21 times. |
