And now there is no hope of turning a dismal season around -- the team was officially knocked out of playoff contention today. East St. Louis last appeared in the postseason in 2049. This is their 24th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 42 times in their 50-year history. East St. Louis has won the Round 3 2 times in their history. |
