Hernández Clips Pickers for Cycle Tuesday, July 22nd , 2070 It was a quite a day for Ben Hernández at Lemurs Ballpark. He hit for the cycle, belting out every kind of hit there is -- a single, double, triple and home run. The Lexington center fielder accomplished the rare feat during his team's 6-2 victory over the Pickle Pickers. "I never even thought about hitting for the cycle and what do you know, I did it," he told BNN reporters at the postgame press conference. "The cycle really doesn't matter to me, it's the win that's important." Hernández went 4-for-5 in the game with 2 runs batted in and 3 runs scored. Ben Hernández tripled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Carter Thornton in the 5th, doubled in the 7th and struck out in the 9th.
